recent beauty faves.

~ Not sponsored ~

In the last two months I've been to London and of course I couldn't resist picking up a few beauty goodies, pair that with some of my recent October finds and you have this post! Keep on reading to find out which products I discovered this month!

LUSH' cinders shower gel ~ According to LUSH this shower gel smells like the essence of autumn with pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon and maple syrup. I actually smell a lot more marzipan and pumpkin, with a lil' hint of spice, instead of a spice extravaganza like LUSH says. Either way, showering with this just gets me in the mood for autumn! It's such a nice, warm and comforting scent which just gets me in the mood for the colder seasons.

ELF brow pencil (neutral brown) ~ This eyebrow pencil from ELF is very affordable and buildable. I love using it to fill in small gaps in my brows by just going in with soft, airy strokes to create a light effect. The pencil lasts pretty long on me, and even though the color is a bit dark it's nothing I can't work with. It's also super useful that it comes with a spoolie.

Hema 106 eyeliner brush ~ I actually use this brush for eyebrow powder and so far I'm really enjoying it for that! It's small and precise enough to make good hair like strokes, but it's also good for eyeliner, if you'd like to use it as an eyeliner brush. The size of the brush is perfect for either, so whether you're a brow person or an eyeliner person (or both!) this brush is the one for you. (Bonus: it's actually super affordable as well! Don't sleep on Hema brushes!!)

Zoella beauty sweet inspirations perfume ~ If you've always wanted to smell like a freshly baked lot of vanilla sugar cookies, look no further! This perfume is the perfect slightly sweet, vanilla-y goodness scent that's not too overpowering. A perfect scent for the colder months as it evokes those great memories of baking with your friends / family during the festive season. The scent actually lasts so well on me, and I've had multiple people tell me I smell great when I was wearing this perfume.

Essence extra long-lasting eyeliner pen ~ Eyeliner has always intimidated me, but since I wanted to try doing a graphic eyeliner look I decided to pick up the cheapest eyeliner pen I could find (with a reasonably thin tip). That eyeliner turned out to be this one and I believe it's safe to say this pen is a huge hit! Somehow it's very easy to use, even if it's your first time trying out eyeliner. The color isn't exactly jet-black, so you do have to go over it a couple times, and if you have watery eyes like me it might be better if you get the waterproof version. However, this eyeliner still gets a huge recommendation from me because it's so easy to use. Effortless cat eyes for days!

And that was it for this short post! I hope you enjoyed and I'd love it if you left your recent beauty faves in the comments, as I'm always on the hunt for new stuff to try!
