recent beauty faves (june)

~ Not sponsored, but if you're interested in sponsoring a post, hit me up ;) ~

What's up everybody! I'm back at it again (with the white vans) with the beauty favourites posts because last time I did this it got a massive amount of comments! <3. I went to Berlin for a bit at the end of May / start of June, so of course I picked up some things to try out! In this post I'll only be discussing the hits though, so let's just get into it!

🌻 ogx coconut water spray
Ya gurl has some frizzy, curly hair, so that means I'm always looking for new oils and anti-frizz treatments to save my hair from becoming a mini afro. This spray by Ogx is nice to control frizz and keep your hair soft, and feels a lot softer than most oils. It manages to keep my baby hairs at bay for a while and has a nice tropical, coconut smell as well.
Fun story: when I sprayed this on in the bus back from Berlin it went silent, and then you could hear like 15 people say "what's that coconut smell"... oops...? :)

🌻 st moriz professional self tanning lotion (medium)
Another fun fact: I self tan occasionally! Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being a pale pastie, it's just that this pale pastie prefers to be a little-less-pale of a pastie :). This one by St Moriz is easy to handle, doesn't get splotchy easily and is a nice shade. I was afraid medium was gonna be way to dark for me, but it's actually really doable and natural-looking. This is the first ever self tanner I ever used that you have to shower of, but it wasn't a problem for me. I was terrified this was gonna stain my nice white, aesthetically pleasing, sheets, but it didn't at all! Thank God.

🌻 maybelline superstay matte ink (fighter)
I've been obsessing over burnt orange lips lately (thanks to Gemary on Youtube) and when doing research for a good one I stumbled onto this one, so of course I had to pick it up while in Berlin. The shade is gorgeous; it's a perfect dark, burnt orange, not too warm and not too over the top. For everyday I usually just dab some on and smudge it for a more subtle look, but I love just wearing it normally as well. I've already talked about this formula before, but it's VERY long-lasting and pigmented! Only oils will remove it, else it's just stuck on your lips and not going anywhere. Such a good drugstore liquid lip.

🌻 the body shop white musk + smoky rose perfume
Another things I've been on the hunt for was a perfume, and after a long search I finally found this one by the Body shop (I accidentally found a sample of this in a drawer and loved it lol). It has one of my favorite scents in it; roses, and it has very nice musky, mysterious, unique notes too. I like to say that it's such a good representation of me; roses, more common soft notes and ending in mysterious, very different musky notes. The scent lasts pretty long on me as well. Would recommend.

🌻 maybelline great lash mascara
There's a lot of hype around this mascara, and I get it now. This mascara is just the kind of natural, lengthening and curling mascara I want and need. The wand is straight and simple, and the effect is nice and subtle. Exactly my kind of mascara. Besides that, it's only €3,25 as well, so you really have no reason not to try it.

Anyways, that was it for this short post! I really enjoy doing these shorter, more focused favorites posts and I hope you guys do too :).
See ya next week!
