🌹 Why you need to start using rosewater. 🌹

~ Not sponsored, but if you're interested, hit me up ;) ~

If you've ever watched any of my Youtube videos or read one of my blogposts, you probably know that I swear by rosewater. It's my always-in-my-purse, multifunctional daily life essential. However, I think the rosewater craze needs to be spread to more people, so today I'm going to be telling you all about why you should start using rosewater in your skincare routine (and your life) ASAP.

First of, rosewater comes with an amazing assortment of skincare benefits. It calms the skin soothes it, works against redness, works anti-aging, helps maintain the skin's PH balance, helps control excess oil, moisturizes, works anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory and helps prevent wrinkles, so there's really nothing a good spritz of rosewater can't do. Rosewater can work on any skin type to help against a plethora of skin troubles effectively. It can also clean out your pores and keep those nice and clean, so there's really no reason to say no to a good refreshing spray of rosewater :). A quick spray of rosewater is a powerful and quick step in your routine that can revitalize and greatly benefit your skin. I've found it helps with my redness and with combatting break-outs and unevenness, amongst other things, so I swear by it in the mornings and the evenings.

The smell of rosewater has also been shows to help with enhancing your mood and getting rid of anxiety. The scent is calming and relaxing and can also serve as a form of aromatherapy, a little spritz of rosewater on your pillow can also help you with getting a better night's sleep. Besides that, rosewater also has some great hair benefits; it can treat dandruff, work as a conditioner and help your hair grow faster. So a bottle of rosewater can not only help your skin out, it can also help you with your mood and your hair. How great is that!?!

Now to get onto my final point, and that is that rosewater is relatively cheap. A bottle of my fave Mario Badescu rosewater will cost you around 8 bucks and can last you about 1 to 2 months. If you want to go the cheaper route you can also just buy pure rosewater at your local health store and dilute it 1:1 with water for a diy version.
But while we're on the subject of the Mario Badescu spray: let's talk about that one real quick. I swear I'm not sponsored, I just religiously swear by this stuff. It contains aloe vera, which is known to soothe the skin and combat redness, rosewater and herbs, which makes for a perfect combination to soothe and moisturize the skin. By far the best thing about this spray though is the fact that it can be sprayed over your makeup and not disrupt it (!!!) and that is a huge things, seeing as most of the facial sprays I've tried just ruin your makeup. (Also: it comes in both 108ml and a 236ml bottle if you want to get a good deal)
